Bangla Live New Radio

Developed for the Yahoo! Widget Engine platform, Bangla Live New Radio is a small application that provides direct access to the Bangla Live New Radio, directly on your desktop. It can be seamlessly installed and configured.
The interface of the widget is based on a small frame that can be moved to any position on the screen, with the help of the mouse cursor.
It is possible to adjust the volume level as well as to visit the radio station's homepage, with the simple click of a button.
A few configuration settings are available through the Widget Preferences panel, through the context menu. Therefore, you can select the radio stream (e.g. Radio Japan news), homepage link and logo.
Thanks to the default options provided by the Yahoo! Widget Engine, you can set the frame to stay on top or below all the other windows, to ignore mouse events and to prevent dragging. Plus, you can specify the opacity level, between 20% and 100%.
The small widget does not put a strain on the computer's overall performance, since it uses a very low amount of CPU and system memory. It has a good response time and works well. We have not experienced any problems throughout our evaluation, since the app did not hang, crash or pop up error dialogs. Thanks to its intuitive layout and options, Bangla Live New Radio can be figured out by all types of users.
