Barnacle is a global, programmable toolbar creator that fits inside any window. Change images, tool tips and left-, right- and middle click actions. The actions can be key presses, menu selections, button clicking and window actions.
Installation:
· Place Barnacle.exe in the folder C:Program FilesBarnacle, and run the file.
· This creates Barnacles settings file, and two folders called Toolbars and Images.
· In Toolbars youll store your toolbar definitions. Here youll find toolbars files for Calculator and Notepad.
· In Images youll store your own images. Theres already one icon there.
Usage:
To add your own toolbar to an application, heres what to do:
· Create an ini-file in the Settings subfolder, for example Calc.ini, or copy one of the existing files.
· the file you created and change the class= line to show the class of the application, for Calculator the class name is SciCalc.
· Find the class of the application by right clicking Barnacles tray icon and clicking Show Info.
· Move the mouse over the application you want to modify and watch the tray area for a popup showing the class name.
· Now add the button descriptions as described in the Toolbars section below.
· Optionally create your own images and place them in the Images subfolder.
· Restart Barnacle
