Basketball Roster Organizer is free software made for basketball coaches. It can be used for any type of basketball league like YMCA or kids city leagues or church leagues. The main purpose is to help coaches to track and plan their basketball team roster from game to game. Basketball Roster Assistant lets coaches track any number of basketball games as well as any number of basketball teams. The software helps to track what went on during a game such as making sure certain basketball players gets their turn at a position as well as insuring that each player gets their fair share of playing time. It can also help coaches track which rosters are the most successful. The coach can print out the team roster before to the game allowing the coach to plan the basketball positions and organize substitutes for each quarter prior to the game. Then the coach announces the players and positions as players run out onto the basketball court. For each basketball game played the coach can track the player roster used including which players played which basketball positions during each quarter, which players subbed, the final score, the opponent, wins, losses, and date. You may still get complaints about playing time and positions, but at least you will have a record and plan that backs up what you actually did. The basketball positions that are tracked include center, shooting guard, point guard, small forward, and power forward.
