Batch Media Info Supporter is an tool that displays advanced information about audio and video files, such as codec, format, duration, sample rate, and bit rate.
Geared toward experienced users, it enables you to perform media analysis for various purposes, such as preparing for filetype conversion.
Prerequisites and interface
It's not wrapped in a setup package, so you can save the downloaded files in a custom location on the HDD and just double-click the executable to launch the program. It's also possible to copy the app to a USB flash drive to directly run it on any PC. It doesn't change Windows registry settings. .NET Framework must be installed, though.
Regarding the interface, Batch Media Info Supporter adopts a normal window with options that may seem cluttered to the untrained eye.
Audio and video files can be dropped into the main frame while navigating Explorer directories, and you can check out the total items, along with known and unknown media files.
View and save media information
The tool supports a wide range of filetypes, such as 3GP, ASF, AVI, FLV, MKV, MOV, MP4 and MPEG. Files shown in the task list can be filtered by type, and it's possible to include or exclude files from all folders and subfolders.
