Beautiful Earth

Beautiful Earth is a small application that can transform your desktop into a weather forecast. It can be easily installed and configured, even by less experienced users.
Once installed, you can customize the tool's properties by accessing its icon in the system tray area. So, you can make it your default screensaver or automatically run at system startup, as well as change the temperature unit (Fahrenheit or Celsius).
In addition, you can add as many time zones as you want, toggle the time format between the 12-hour and 24-hour mode, customize the text font and color in the map, as well as hide the date and day of the week.
Furthermore, you can create a favorites list with cities to check out on the map, change the earth background image and viewing mode, as well as hide the clouds.
The simple-to-use tool runs on a moderate amount of CPU and system memory, and has a good response time. We have not come across any issues throughout our testing; Beautiful Earth did not freeze, crash or pop up error dialogs.
