BEETmobile Hotspot is a lightweight application designed to help you create a hotspot using your Internet connection. This means, your friends will be able to use your WLAN connections in order to surf on the Internet.
It sports a clean and simple layout that gives users the possibility to perform most operations with minimum effort.
BEETmobile Hotspot lets you share your Internet connectivity over Wi-Fi with other devices or friends by simply enabling or disabling the connection mode with just a few clicks.
The tool comes packed with several configuration settings built to help you specify a name, set up passwords, view the status of your password (strength or weak), and make the program reveal the characters of the password or hide them.
Other important options worth mentioning are represented by the possibility to limit the access of other users to your Internet connection by automatically turning off the hotspot after a specified time (in minutes), and make the utility run at Windows start up.
Additionally, you can enable the automatic updating mode, and view the connected devices. Since there aren’t many configuration settings, even less experienced users can set up the entire process with minimum effort.
During our testing we have noticed that BEETmobile Hotspot carries out a task very quickly and without errors throughout the entire process. It manages to remain light on the system resources, so it doesn’t put a lot of stress on the CPU and memory, nor interfere with other programs’ functionality.
