BitRecover PDF to Image Wizard Description
Even though finding an application that can open PDF files is not at all difficult, you may sometimes need to convert these documents to various images formats for specific purposes.
BitRecover PDF to Image Wizard is a relatively simple program that is well suited for this job, as it enables you to turn your PDF files into BMP, JPG, TIFF, PNG or GIF images. It is very intuitive, but it lacks some important features.
Process all your documents at once
This is a great application for users who need to convert batches of PDF files, as any number of documents can be imported and turned into images in no time. If the source files are stored in the same folder, you can just select the directory without having to add each document manually.
However, BitRecover PDF to Image Wizard does not offer support for drag and drop, and no information is provided about the source files once they have been imported.
Basic conversion utility that could use some improvements
The application can export content to a number of popular image formats, but users are not allowed to modify any settings related to the output pictures, such as their quality, dimensions and compression level.
Additionally, you do not have the option of selecting a specific page range from each document, which would have been handy in situations when only a few pages need to be converted.
Moreover, although the program can export content to the TIFF format, it is not capable of creating multipage TIFF images.
Easy to use, but offers limited functionality
All in all, BitRecover PDF to Image Wizard is a reliable program that, while not packed with features, can certainly get the job done. Unfortunately, though, it lacks a number of important features that would have made it easier for us to recommend it to all users. As it stands, it is a good choice for novices, but others may wish to look elsewhere.
