Blaze MediaConvert Description
Blaze MediaConvert is a simple-to-use program designed to help you convert images, audio and video files in a user-friendly environment. It supports multiple media formats, including AVI, WMV, MPEG, MOV, MP3, WAV, OGG, BMP and JPG.
The interface of the application is plain and easy to work with. Media can be imported into the list by using the file browser only, since the "drag and drop" method is not supported (and neither is batch processing).
So, after you specify the output destination and format, you can proceed with the conversion task.
In addition, you can configure audio and video settings when it comes to the codec, bit rate, width and height, sample frequency rate, channels, and others. Images can be resized.
On top of that, you can burn audio to disk, include subfolders, enable Blaze MediaConvert to overwrite existing files, to skip a file if the output already exists, to maintain the folder structure and to delete the source files after conversion, and more.
The program quickly finishes a task while using a low-to-moderate amount of system resources. No errors have occurred during conversions in our tests and the image and sound are maintained at a very good quality.
However, an error popped up every time we tried ripping audio tracks from a CD. Also, the interface needs some major improvements, since it is outdated. We recommend Blaze MediaConvert with reservations.
