BossKey

If you wish to use more desktops at once, but all available software solutions are a bit too complicated, it's pretty clear that you need to have a look at BossKey.
Especially designed to work with up to 10 desktops, this very simple virtual desktop program comes with only a few customization options, thus becoming the kind of tool that can be safely installed by all types of users.
Because rookies are the ones that could be scared away by very complex software solutions, BossKey is actually incredibly easy to use and mostly because of the limited number of built-in features.
Once you launch it, you have nothing else to do than to play a little bit with the available options, which let you change the hotkeys and the windows to be displayed on all desktops.
You can for example set up hotkeys to call the application and show its main window, switch to current or last desktop or configure a dedicated key combination for jumping straight to a user-defined desktop.
While everything sounds pretty interesting, BossKey only works okay on Windows XP, while it fails to serve its purpose on Windows 7, even when launched with administrator privileges. It runs fine, but it doesn't seem to react to any of the configured hotkeys.
Overall, BossKey is a decent piece of software and while it could attract a handful of users, it still needs some feature updates in the next versions. It's a good thing that everything's so easy to use, but more configuration options and a System Tray icon for better control are must have features.
