BSOD is a small Windows application designed specifically for helping you personalize the Blue Screen of Death (BSoD), also known as the blue screen, Stop screen or Blue Screen of Doom. The blue screen appears after a fatal or critical error and may cause your system to shut down.

Portable running mode

Portability comes with several advantages to your system. You can uninstall the utility by simply deleting the files that you have downloaded from the Internet. In addition, you may copy it on any USB flash drive or other devices, carry it with you, and run it on the target computer on the fly.

Although there’s no support for a help manual, the program’s features are highly intuitive so you won’t spend too much time setting up the entire process. A preview panel comes to help you visualize the changes applied to blue screens.

Change BSoD colors

BSOD gives you the freedom to select a color from several preset options, such as black, cyan, gray, green, red, white, yellow, bright blue, and bright red. You can set the selected color as your background one or alter the text.
In case you are not happy with the results, the application offers you the possibility to easily restore the configuration settings to system default ones.
