Calculator

Calculator is a simple and handy jEdit plugin that comes in handy when you need to calculate a lot of arithmetical operations or trigonometrical functions. The app can be used as a stand-alone tool as well.

Easy integration in jEdit 

Once the download is complete, you can extract the content to a folder and use the calculator as an independent utility or integrate it into jEdit by copying and pasting the JAR file into the jEdit's "Jars" directory.
Check the app's "Plugins" menu and see if the add-on is there. Clicking on it brings up the calculator. Make sure you have Java Runtime Environment present on the drive, as it's necessary for both jEdit and the calculator to run.

Unique register system to store values

The tool adopts a clean and user-friendly interface, with four register stack fields that let you "roll" of the stack in either direction and swap of the X and Y registers.
Plus, the operators and numeric pad are neatly structured on each side of the calculator. Lists of functions and constants are also provided, which you can add in the menu.

The tool offers you the option to calculate trigonometric functions, such as sine, cosine, tangent, cotangent, along with the arc of sine, cosine and tangent.
In addition, you can determine pi and Euler, extract the square root, and do logarithm, factorial, conversion between radian to degrees. As we mentioned above, the app lets you roll the register up and down, swap the X and Y registers, and recall the last x value.
