It's a small but creative software solution that allows you to create all sort of documents. However, it has few features and tools.

Simple and fluent graphical interface

The application installs quickly and it sports a really intuitive and clean graphical interface with only some tools at hand. Since, it doesn't have a toolbar, you shouldn't expect to come across any customization options or advanced settings.
A help menu wouldn't have been necessary, since the application has only a few tools and icons displayed in the main window.

Create documents without any distractions

The main idea behind this application is to provide a graphical interface that removes all distractions from your desktop. It covers the whole screen, leaving only a little space for tool icons.
Clearly, this application was created for users who get easily distracted and wish to remove all elements that could affect their work. That being said, you shouldn't expect the program to come with any options for editing your text.
It lacks tools for changing the font style, size or even color. You can adjust the font size, but there's only two options to choose from.

Change the color of the interface

It comes with four background colors that you could choose from, each of them is easy on the eyes. The black mode is especially useful when you work at night and the white background could be tiring to your eyes.
Documents can be saved in txt format on your computer. You shouldn't worry if you forget to save before exiting, the application saves the text automatically and displays it the next time you launch the program.
All in all, Catlooking Writer is a neat and quite useful application for writing text, but it would have been nice if it had some more options.
