Check Studio Personal Edition is a very nice software solution for designing your own checks and printing them at home.
It comes with a really easy-to-use graphical interface, with plenty of tools at hand and lots of features that you can check out.

Intuitive graphical interface with plenty of features

The application doesn't take long to install and it doesn't come with a complicated setup that you would need to complete before you can use all of its features. The graphical interface is quite intuitive and it has all features at hand.
The first thing that you need to do after launching the application is to create a user account. Check Studio supports an unlimited number of users with varying security rights.
Each user can be used as an account holder (payer) for any account that you have created in the application.

Design and print checks

The application comes with multiple check designs that you can use and it lets you preview designs easily. There's the option to change details like width, height, switch between landscape or portrait view.
You can change any detail on the check and adjust text font size, insert images or align text to the right or the left. Check Studio allows you to store a logo for your account(s).

More features and tools

Check Studio allows you to create recurring or future payment reminders via desktop alerts.  This allows the program to alert you when an upcoming payment due date is approaching so you don't forget to make the payment.
When entering a transaction for scheduled payments, the data you enter when initially creating the scheduled payment will be pre-filled in the transaction entry window. The application can provide you with a desktop alert when a payment's due date is approaching.
All in all, Check Studio Personal Edition is a very nice software solution for designing your own checks, setting alerts for due payments and more.
