CheckP3 Description

Supports infinite mail servers, ftp servers, ping nodes (with tracing) and news servers.
Fully multi-threaded.
Window look:
Dock windows to desktop.
Set window transparency (Win2k/XP).
Save customized window layout.
Set background color and text font.
Active tray icon and right-click menu support.
English, Italian and Spanish available (easy translation available).
Password to access CheckP3.
Can synchronize the PC clock with an atomic clock server.
'Busy Mode' option starts the screen-saver and can lock the PC.
A debug window to view all communication between CheckP3 and the server.
An activity window to monitor CheckP3 functions.
Save settings to Registry (default) or to an ini file (handy for removable media: floppy, pen drive, etc.).
Send e-mail directly from CheckP3 (with CC, BCC, and file attachments).
Built-in action to check all servers or just the selected server.
Each server has:
Its own timer, allowing for a customized check interval (or for disabling the check).
Its own font color, to spot it more easily in a long list of servers.
Its own connection timeout useful for slow network connections.

[HOTMAIL] Secure authentication Digest MD5 (rfc1321 and rfc2069) is supported.
[POP3 - IMAP] Preview N lines of the message.
[POP3 - IMAP] Use AntiSpam and WhiteList filters with various actions:
Match regular expression
Match plain text
Delete/move message to folder or just mark message subject
[POP3 - IMAP] Fully interact with server to read/save/delete/purge messages.
[IMAP - HOTMAIL - LYCOS] Check the default 'inbox' or an alternate folder on the server.
FTP Server:
Use different comparison types (file size, modification time, short list, long list).
Check remote files (ftp://somehost.com/somefile.txt) or local files (localhost:c:autoexec.bat).
Anonymous login and authenticated user login are supported.
Ping server:
Set the number of packet to send.
Enable packet trace and optionally resolve the host name.
News server:
Authentication to news server is supported.
