CHMOD-Win

With the help of CHMOD-Win users may convert Unix-based security numbers to a version supported by Windows, and vice versa.
The program's features are to the point and accessible to all types of users, regardless of their level of expertise.
The app is wrapped in a comfortable interface based on a small window with a simple structure, which provides quick access to all main options. After writing a CHMOD value, you can customize the Windows ACL (Access Control Lists).
You can assign reading, writing and execution permissions to the owner, local user, or Internet, as well as make combinations of any of these options.
In order to view the Windows-compatible CHMOD value, all you have to do is click the "Convert" button. The resulted number can be copied to the Clipboard using the global keyboard shortcut. An additional option lets you clear all information and start from scratch. There is nothing else available through CHMOD-Win.
The program does not put a strain on system performance, since it requires a very low quantity of CPU and RAM to work properly. We have not experienced any issues in our tests, since CHMOD-Win worked smoothly, without causing Windows to hang, crash or pop up error dialogs. All in all, the tool serves its purpose through a user-friendly approach.
