Cleanup is a speedy and easy-to-use application that enables you to thoroughly clean cookies and cache in Internet Explorer with the click of a button.
It doesn't include customization settings for experienced users, since it's not as feature-rich as other cleanup utilities, such as Ccleaner.

No setup required, besides .NET Framework

The entire program's packed in a single .exe file that can be saved to a preferred directory on the disk or copied to a removable storage unit, in order to seamlessly run it on any computer.
It doesn't update the system registry with new entries or create files on the HDD without your permission. However, you should know that must have .NET Framework installed, as it was built with the aid of this platform.

Clean IE cookies and cache

The interface is user-friendly, represented by a small panel with a simple design and structure, giving you an overview of the three buttons available, so you don't have to rely on multiple windows to carry out easy tasks.
It's possible to clear the cookies or cache in Internet Explorer, or both at the same time. A message dialog pops up at the end of the task to let you know it's over. There are no other noteworthy settings provided by this software program.

Where it falls short

The tool doesn't come bundled with more resourceful options for cleaning up Internet Explorer. For example, it doesn't give you the possibility to preview IE files. We are also keep in mind that it hasn't received updates for a long time.

Evaluation and conclusion

As expected from such a compact app, it didn't put a strain on the machine's performance in our tests, thanks to the fact that it needed a low amount of CPU and RAM to function normally. Cleanup deleted the IE cookies and cache swiftly, without causing the operating system to hang, crash or show errors.
