Clicker

Developed for the Yahoo! Widget Engine platform, Clicker is a small tool that features a clicker similar to the one seen in the well-known AXE commercial featuring Ben Affleck.
It is a simple digital toy that basically adds your mouse clicks to a counter, and is able to record up to 9999 clicks. The widget can be seamlessly installed and set up, even by users with little or no experience in software applications.
The interface of Clicker looks a bit unusual and consists of a small frame that you can move to any position on the screen using the mouse cursor. Aside from recording your mouse clicks, you can also reset the counter.
By accessing the Widget Preferences area via the context menu, you have the option of disabling sound. Unfortunately, Clicker does not integrate any other options or configuration settings of its own.
However, thanks to the default options provided by the Yahoo! Widget Engine, you can set the frame to stay on top or below all the other windows, to ignore mouse events and to prevent dragging. Plus, you can set its opacity level to a preset value between 20% and 100%.
The widget does not put a strain on the computer's activity, since it runs on a very low amount of CPU and system memory. Clicker has a good response time and works smoothly, without hanging, crashing or popping up error dialogs.
