ClipRecord Description
ClipRecord is a small software application whose purpose is to help you record your clipboard activity and store multiple text items, images, and files. It can be deployed on all Windows versions out there.
Requires no installation
The utility is portable so you may opt for keeping it stored on pen drives or other similar devices. No administrative privileges are needed for running it. Plus, you can open it directly from the storage device.
You do not have to go through an installation process in order to gain access to the GUI. A double-click on the executable file does the job. It does not populate your Windows registry with extra entries so you may get rid of it with a simple deletion task of the files that you have downloaded from the Internet.
Clean looks
A multi-tabbed environment is implemented for helping you quickly access text items, images, and files stored to your clipboard. You cannot consult a help manual to read more about the configuration process. However, you can get an idea about how the tool works in a short amount of time because the dedicated parameters look intuitive.
A few clipboard configuration settings
ClipRecord gives you the possibility to automatically monitor clipboard content for new items and check out the saved records directly in the main window.
What’s more, you are allowed to go to the previous or next clipboard item. The tool is also able to save all clipboard records to a folder on your computer.
Other important configuration settings worth being mentioned enable you to perform searches throughout the saved text items, copy data back to the clipboard so you can transfer it into other windows, and check out info about each copied file (name, size, file type, and creation, modification, and last accessed date).
Final remarks
To sum things up, ClipRecord comes packed with basic and handy features for helping you keep track of multiple clipboard records at the same time. It is suitable especially for less experienced users.
