Code Inventors Trip is a small and lightweight piece of software designed from the ground-up to help you calculate various motoring costs.

Intuitive utility that can be installed and used in no time

The application undergoes a streamlined installation process subsequent to which, upon launching it, you are met by a compact, un-resizable main window.
Its interface is not what you would call modern-looking but everything is right on display in a classic WYSIWYG style.

Just input the data and the results are displayed at a second's notice

Basically, the application represents a collection of the most popular calculations that a motorist should take into account. You can easily calculate the journey costs, MPG figures, fuel per journey or the amount of fuel used per given cost.
Therefore, it does not take long to figure out how everything works. Simply type the units in the designated boxes and the app automatically displays the results in an official manner right under them.
As expected, the application does enable you to choose from Imperial or Metric distance units. What is more, you can swiftly launch the Windows Calculator app right from the main window via the designated button.

Comes with a handy set of conversion methods

It is worth noting that the program also makes it possible for you to perform a set of simple and popular conversions.
For example, you can convert between MPG and Liters per one hundred kilometers, between miles per gallon and miles per liter, miles and kilometers, BHP and PS, as well as convert torque figures between pound per foot and Newton meters.

Allows you to save and load your conversion results

You may also have noticed the small set of buttons from the bottom part of the main window.
You should know that the 'New' button clears all data and results and the 'Clear' button does almost the same but without modifying the file name.  Following the same basic principles, the 'Load' button enables you to load data from previously saved Trip files and the 'Save As' allows you to save your conversions for future usage.
All in all, while not especially impressing, Code Inventors Trip is a little,  useful application that helps you calculate motoring costs by doing its simple job without a fault, exactly how small apps of this sort should be, if you ask us.
