Code QReator is a simple-to-use software application that enables you to seamlessly generate QR codes for various purposes, such as text, URLs, phone numbers, SMS messages and vCard data.

Simple setup and interface

Installing this utility is a fast and easy job that shouldn't give you any trouble. As far as the interface is concerned, Code QReator adopts a large window with a neatly organized structure, split into multiple panes for text, URLs, calls, SMSs and vCards.

Seamlessly generate QR codes

QR codes can be generated from plain text, links, phone numbers, phone numbers and SMS messages, as well as vCard information with a first and last name, title, company, address, postal code, city, country, home and work email addresses, and website.
It's possible to personalize the QR code color and size before clicking a button to instantly generate it. Unfortunately, the software utility doesn't implement options for copying the code to the Clipboard as an image, printing it, or exporting it to file.

Evaluation and conclusion

There were no stability issues in our tests, thanks to the fact that the tool didn't hang, crash or prompt error dialogs. It had minimal impact on computer performance, running on low CPU and RAM.
Although it doesn't implement rich options and customization preferences, Code QReator offers a simple solution for generating multipurpose QR codes, and it can be easily handled by anyone.
