Color to HTML Description
Computer design doesn’t just mean putting all of your ideas and creativity in order to create neat interfaces or visual elements for programs or websites. For instance, a computer reads colors based on code, with multiple types depending on the programming language used in the process. As such, Color to HTML lets you grab any color on screen and reveal the HTML code.
Advantages of a portable app
For starters, the application comes in a lightweight package which doesn’t even require installation in order to function. This makes it pretty flexible, letting you take advantage of its features directly from a flash drive, without affecting the target PC’s stability, because registry entries are not modified in the process. However, .NET Framework is required for it to work.
A pretty compact main window shows up, with all functions in a classic frame, and intuitive layout. There are several modes through which to obtain the desired HTML code. On the one hand, opening the color picker brings up the standard color palette to choose the right tint, while the confirmation takes you back to the main window with the generated code.
Stand-alone or extension
On the other hand, it’s possible to manually write down the RGB values, while the code updates in real time. The screenshot tool is the way you pick a color from the screen, but the lack of a magnifier can make it difficult to pick a specific pixel. Again, confirmation takes you back to the main window.
Every time you pick a color both RGB and HTML fields are automatically filled with appropriate, corresponding values. Copying needs to be manually done from the field of interest. Additionally, the utility can be integrated into CopyWriter to enhance its core functionality.
To sum it up
In conclusion, Color to HTML is a pretty practical application with which to extract the RGB or HTML code in a pretty straightforward fashion. It comes as a stand-alone product, but can also serve as an extension for CopyWriter, thus deserving all your time and effort overall.
