Color translator

LittleCMS, the manufacturer of the color engine embedded internally in countless devices, announces the availability of a new line of products targeted to color professionals. The first product introduced is "Color Translator", an application that can perform color conversions in batch mode in TIFF, JPEG and PNG file formats. Key features are multithreading, gamut-mapping, ink-limiting on CMYK and comprehensive support of all versions of ICC profiles. Color Translator runs on Apple Mac OSX and Microsoft Windows. Since the image is in the AdobeRGB1998 color space, it cannot be properly rendered on any normal display. Most color managed applications fails at those images, generating artifacts. Color Translator "smart intents" can detect when AdobeRGB is embedded into the image and create a special gamut-mapped color transform, with amazing results.
