Computech MP3 Locator Description
MP3 Locator is a search utility which locates MP3s which are on your system. Although you can search for MP3 files using Windows Explorer, you are limited to a single location at a time, or wasting time searching all locations - even those you know dont contain any MP3s. With MP3 Locator you can define multiple MP3 locations - on multiple drives, all of which are searched when you hit the Find button. Also, with Explorer you can only search for exact strings or wildcards - both of which are restrictive. MP3 Locator lets you search a word, multiple words or part-words - in any order and in any case. To find Anastacia - Sick And Tired.mp3 with MP3 Locator, you could search for Anastacia Tired, Tire Anast or Sic Tir Anas. All would find the required track - assuming that you had it and it was located in a directory listed in the search path. Once songs have been located, you can drag and drop them onto your favourite MP3 player like WinAmp.
