ContentReplace

ContentReplace is a lightweight piece of software that gives you the possibility to replace text in documents. It supports batch processing, which means that it's capable of replacing multiple strings of characters in multiple files at the same time.

Needs .NET Framework to work properly

The program doesn't have to be installed, so you can save the app files anywhere on the disk and double-click the .exe to launch ContentReplace. However, you should make sure that .NET Framework is installed on your PC or the app won't work.
As far as the interface is concerned, the tool adopts a large window with a plain and simple look, where you can indicate the folder whose text documents you want to include in the find-and-replace operation.

Filter files, set the charset, delete lines

It's possible to include all files or filter them by pattern, pick the preferred character set, include or exclude subfolders, as well as ask the text replacer to erase entire lines where it finds the matching string.

Find and replace multiple strings at once

In the following step, you can enter the text you want to replace, along with the text to replace it with. Multiple strings can be processed at the same time if you enter one text per line. The replace strings can be saved, so that they are automatically displayed the next time you deploy ContentReplace.
The software application worked smoothly in our tests, without hanging, crashing or prompting errors. It quickly replaced text while remaining light on system resources consumption.
