CPU ClockSpeed Plus

CPU ClockSpeed Plus is a gadget for your desktop that shows the current CPU level of your system, as the name implies, along with the memory usage. It caters to all users who frequently hog the computer resources and need to keep track of them, such as hardcore video gamers.
After a very quick and automatic installation procedure, you can check out the simple interface, represented by a small frame that you can move to any position on the screen, with the help of the mouse cursor.
The frame has a dark green background and white text, showing the percentage level for each core (up to four are supported), along with used memory and frequency.
From the Options panel you can change the interface skin (CPU ClockSpeed Plus supports a total of 16 skins), modify the refresh speed, as well as make the tool display the frequency in GHz.
Thanks to the default settings provided by the operating system, you can enable the frame to stay on top of other windows, as well as adjust its opacity level between 20% and 100%.
CPU ClockSpeed Plus requires a minimal amount of CPU and RAM to work properly, thus it doesn't interrupt user activity. However, its response time was very poor in our tests. Other than that, we have not come across any issues. Too bad that CPU ClockSpeed Plus has not been updated for a pretty long time.
