CrocodileNote

CrocodileNote is a basic yet effective piece of software aimed to help you store all your personal or work-related notes, protecting them with a AES256 encryption algorithm and a password of your own choice.

Clean and practical user interface

The application features a fairly underwhelming appearance, yet its simplicity may appeal to computer novices, as it does not require that much knowledge or experience in order to use it properly.
The first time you run CrocodileNote, you will be required to input and confirm an access password of at least eight characters. You cannot create several accounts, and afterward, you will be required to enter the same string to access your notes.

Create and store notes which you can protect with a password

After having created your password and accessed the main interface of the program, you can begin adding notes and organizing them into folders, naming them however you want for better structuring.
To enter a new note, you can click on the ‘Add’ button, then type your text into the assigned box. You can also paste it from clipboard. However, CrocodileNote does not support images or other types of graphics, just plain text. When done, you can click on the ‘Save’ button.
If you want to remove a note from the memory of the utility, you can either erase its contents from the text box and press ‘Save’ to finalize the operation or you can ‘Delete’ the whole folder, as it does not feature a dedicated removal button for individual entries.

A password-protected note storer

All in all, CrocodileNote proves to be an exceedingly simple and easy to understand tool which can help you store your more sensitive information under lock and key, for instance access credentials or other card details. However, its lack of slightly more advanced functions and features make the fact that it is still under development quite obvious.
