Can be used on the go

The application completely relies on Java Runtime Environment to function, so you need to make sure that is installed on the target PC. On the other hand, it’s portable, allowing you to carry it on a thumb drive to have your own audio player, and even collection of songs wherever you go. In addition, registry entries are kept intact, as well as the target computer’s stability.
On the visual side of things, you get to work with two windows, one of which represents the playlist editor. It allows you to drop songs over it, or lets you load them through the browse dialog, but only the MP3 format is supported, and the list of items can’t be saved to file. However, you can shuffle the list for more variety in playback.

Little variety in feature set

As far as the lyrics fetching component is concerned, this mostly depends on the song that’s playing, without any option to change the source. Interned needs to be active for this component to work, triggering automatically.
On the other hand, you can switch to a mini mode in case you don’t need all the space for lyrics. This simply reduces the size of the main window to leave just playback controls at your disposal. Sadly, there’s no hotkey support for faster management, OSD function, or possibility to change songs from the taskbar preview box.

Lyrics don’t always show up, and playback controls are only managed from the main window.
