dbForge Data Generator for Oracle Description
dbForge Data Generator for Oracle is an application designed to help you render useful data that can be used for testing purposes. The application comes with over 190 pre-defined generators that you can customize according to the scope and reason of your test.
In addition to the custom tools, the utility also includes basic generators that enable you to create data that you can use to populate tables, including but not limited to Twaddle, weighted list, Python, auto and foreign or manual key, shuffled text, regular expressions or DateTime generators.
You can generate content for an empty database by specifying the columns to be populated, the generators that you would like to use for each of them and configure the parameters. Afterwards, you can open a data population script in the internal editor and define the output file, the synchronization options and the actions that the program should take when it encounters an error.
It is important to note that the utility includes a data editor that enables you to view, sort, group and filter the data in a server-side as well as a client-side mode. In case you are working with large databases, then you can switch between Card view and Pagina Mode, the latter being a suitable solution being capable of splitting data into pages. If you need to look for information within the columns, then you could save time by employing the Auto-Search mode.
In the eventuality that you require generating valid databases for experimenting or testing with Oracle, then dbForge Data Generator might come in handy.System requirementsSupport for all Oracle versions, from 8i to 12c
