Designer Clock

Time is always of the essence, especially since it’s one of the most important, and equally distributed resources out there. Keeping an eye on time can make a difference. While using the computer, a default clock is constantly visible in the tray area, but if Yahoo! Widget Engine is installed, Designer Clock can help spice things up.
Since it’s not a stand-alone product, Yahoo! Widget Engine needs to be installed on the target computer for the widget to function. Once installed, it can be dragged around the desktop in any suitable position.
The display is not an average clock. Based on horizontal lines, bubbles go down as time passes, with each line being differently colored to make hour identification a bit easier. There are three pairs of digits, one for hour, minutes, and seconds. Week days are also shown, with the current one highlighted.
General settings can be used to switch to a 24 hour mode, only affecting the range of hour bubble movement, and indicators. Additionally, chimes can emit audio signals every minute, every fifteen minutes, half an hour, every hour, or turned off.
Just like any other gadget, it also benefits from the default set of options. This means the widget can be dragged around the desktop, or fixed into position, forced to ignore mouse interaction, and have opacity level set between 20 and 100 percent.
