DeviceAngel Description
DeviceAngel is a reliable activity logger that allows you to monitor the activity of children and other users on your PC, tablet and Windows phone. The application can also block certain websites with inappropriate content or gambling services. You can receive notifications and periodic reports on your email address.
Parental control and surveillance
DeviceAngel can record the activity of several users and send the results to your online account, as well as notify you on your email address. You may thus view the websites they visit, as well as everything they type in browsers, files, applications or instant messaging programs.
It is thus a suitable solution for monitoring the activity of certain users from afar, without remotely connecting to them. DeviceAngel runs hidden, in the background and can be called forth by pressing a preset key combination. The results of the surveillance are sent directly to your online account: screenshots, key logs and URLs.
Inappropriate website blocker
DeviceAngel can also act as a website blocker, restricting the access to adult content or gambling pages. A log of all the restricted sites is also sent to your online account. You can easily access this location via a browser, by clicking the shortcut in the application or by typing in the URL. The access is protected by a username and a password.
The program can filter inappropriate content, however, it does not allow you to create a blacklist of your own. You cannot view a list of the blocked domains, nor control the keywords or other restriction criteria.
Running hidden in the background
DeviceAngel starts automatically when the user logs in to the computer and runs hidden, leaving no trace in the system tray or Task Manager. The only options that can be changed from the interface are the launching combination and uninstalling the application. You can also switch the website blocker function off.
