DialogMagic

DialogMagic is a FileMaker Pro plug-in that allows developers to script data entry and automate button selection within FileMakers dialogs in ways that FileMaker Pro does not normally make available, enabling you to: Automate imports and upgrades - Ability to open files with special passwords, update serial numbers and rename old files; Time Saving - Save yourself from spending hours changing passwords file by file in a multi-file solution when you can script the process and execute the same task with one click of the mouse; Dynamically export data - Set file names and and data formats from within your scripts; Automate template creation by precisely scripting the creation of clones; Easily move, rename, and delete files from within your solutions; Launch related or referenced files such as client correspondence, spreadsheets, reports, etc.; Control FileMakers passwords - Create your own custom login solution; Maintain image catalogs - Automate inserting pictures, specifying whether images should be stored or referenced only, with saved or dynamically calculated file paths; Continue or cancel paused scripts - Within a script or field calculation. DialogMagic 9 (previously known as DialogMagic 8 Beta) is compatible with FileMaker 7/8/9, however please note that this is an older product and the demo files remain in .fp5 format.
