Hassle-free installation and clear-cut interface
Setting up the application takes minimal time and effort. As far as the interface goes, DNS Changer Pro adopts a regular window with a well-defined structure, where you can select the network interface and view details concerning its type, speed and status, along with IPv6/IPv4 addresses and DNS server IP address.
Choose popular or custom DNS servers
DNS Changer Pro contains a few known DNS servers, such as OpenDNS, Google DNS, Comodo Secure DNS, FoolDNS and DNSReactor, displaying their corresponding primary and secondary DNS servers, along with the security and speed ratings.
Otherwise, you can just specify custom primary and alternate DNS servers. All changes are applicable with the click of a button. In addition, you can reset to DHCP.
Evaluation and conclusion
The application modifies the DNS servers quickly and effortlessly while remaining light on system resources. We have not come across any issues in our tests, since it did not hang, crash or pop up error messages. Too bad it does not feature support for keyboard shortcuts, in order to swiftly switch though different DNS profiles.
