Doremi FLV to MP3 Converter is yet another program that can convert FLV videos to MP3 audio tracks.
The software includes a plain and simple-to-use interface in which you can import a FLV file via the file browser only, because the "drag and drop" method is not supported (and neither is batch processing).
In the list you can check out the source and output destination, as well as status of the respective FLV file.
So, all you have to do is select the output destination and initiate the conversion process. Once the job is done, a message pops up.
In addition, you can configure audio settings when it comes to channels, sample frequency rate, bit rate and volume. But you can also edit artist and title tags.
The program takes up a low-to-moderate amount of system resources and quickly finishes a conversion job without freezing, crashing or popping up errors.
Unfortunately, there are a few downsides to the FLV converter. The biggest problem is the fact that batch processing is not supported. Furthermore, you cannot specify the output name.
Plus, Doremi FLV to MP3 Converter automatically overwrites files with the same name and you cannot change this option. During our tests, the software didn't manage to maintain a very good sound quality since the volume was significantly lowered (although we used default settings with normal volume conversion).
All in all, Doremi FLV to MP3 Converter is a pretty decent application for FLV-to-MP3 conversion but we have certainly have seen better tools out there. We recommend you look for something which is a little more advanced.
