DotNetChecker Description
Windows bundles together large libraries and sets of functions to enable runtime for most third-party applications without having to download extra content. However, the operating system itself can be enhanced with more libraries required by specific programs and functions, and a common component package is .NET Framework.
This component usually comes inside the default feature pack of Windows, but every iterations includes a specific version. All versions of .NET Framework can be installed, regardless of the Windows edition running on a computer. However, each version of .NET Framework contains specific libraries and functions, and some programs might require a particular .NET package.
Just like the name clearly states, DotNetChecker’s core function is to verify the existence of .NET Framework on a target PC. Note that it doesn’t enlist all versions, and is only capable of telling whether or not .NET Framework 3.51 SP1 is installed on the host computer, and this is instantly done.
On launch, a prompt shows up with either a negative, or positive feedback based on the program status. There’s no installation required, so the utility can be stored on a thumb drive along with other system tools to analyze and inspect multiple computers without going through multiple setup processes to waste time.
