Draft IT

Draft IT is an accessible and intuitive tool created to provide a professional way to design CAD projects using an extensive collection of drawing and annotation tools. It features geometrical shapes, symbols, along with the choice to section lines into arcs, and create angles and snap points.

Configure the proper page dimension and insert forms

The app adopts a ribbon menu and neatly structured sections. It's wrapped in a stylish and user-friendly interface. The program is more orientated towards those with some basic CAD knowledge. You can make a new drawing or open an existing CAD project, for further editing. You can change the sheet size, selecting from several predefined values or manually enter them.
It's possible to insert arcs, lines, geometrical figures (e.g. circle, rectangle), as well as construct horizontal and angular lines. The tool lets you fill them with custom colors and patterns. In addition, you may also add rectangular arrays, and insert guide points. Plus, the app lets you move, stretch, rotate and rescale each component.

Add text, chamfers and fillets

In addition you can enter chamfer (i.e. transitional edges between two sides of an object) and fillets (i.e. interior and exterior edge rounding) elements. It's possible to insert text with different styles, types, sizes and colors, and moved to any location in the design.
What' more, you can add linear, multi-point, chain, angular, and radial dimensions that can be represented by arrows or dots, have a custom color, offset, prefix, and length values. The output is saved in DFT format.

To sum it up

The bottom line is that Draft IT is a professional application designed to provide simple and more advanced methods to create CAD designs, which can contain numerous geometric shapes, lines, half circles, and angles. During our testing the program didn't encounter issues, nor consume too many resources.
