DriverGrabber Description
DriverGrabber is a useful application that allows you to create a backup with the drivers installed on your computer. It can come in handy when you need to reinstall the operating system and want to quickly gather all the drivers in a single folder.
The application is easy to use and enables you to skip the drivers that are no longer required if you are also changing the hardware configuration. You just need to run the executable file in order to create a folder with all your drivers.
In order to configure the application you need to edit the INI file and add the name of the device or the provider that you want to skip. By default, the app does not back up the standard Microsoft drivers but you can back them up by simply removing a simple line from this file.
The drivers are copied in the application folder and you can use them by specifying the driver location when you are installing a new device. After the backup is finished you can view a report with all the driver names and the skipped items in the application folder.
This tool can save you a lot of time by providing you with the drivers that are currently used by your components. You do not need to look for the right version of the drivers on the Internet or in your disc collection.
In our tests, the driver backup took under one minute and used insignificant resources. While this time interval depends on your configuration, the DriverGrabber is a convenient application for anyone that needs to back up the system drivers.
