DriverHub Description
DriverHub is the answer to a common problem: how to boost efficiency of computer hardware at the same time as software. The benefits of up-to-date drivers cannot be understated. Not only do driver updates correct bugs and discrepancies, but they maximize performance. The problem is that devices are made by lots of companies, so keeping drivers up-to-date means trying to find the right driver for a given operating system. Windows can help, but it still only looks for new drivers when prompted - when there is an error. This is where DriverHub comes in. It benefits users in three ways. One is that it does not just get some version of an update, it gets the latest version. By linking to a constantly refreshing datacenter, DriverHub can cite specs on thousands of new drivers as soon as they come out. Since the datacenter is cloud-based, it is not reliant on routine web-crawls but is refreshed dynamically, continually feeding in new driver profiles to replace outdated ones. The second is that DriverHub makes installing drivers easy. If a user can find a driver on the web, there is always a question of getting the right one. Once downloaded, the issue is then how to install it. DriverHub automates both processes. It creates a customized profile of a PC, verifying operating system and technical specs so it retrieves the right driver every time. The third way DriverHub benefits the user is by scheduling routine scans of device and system drivers. On a given computer there are usually upwards of 75 to 100 drivers installed. The only way to keep everything current is to get updates as soon as they become available. DriverHub makes that possible, letting users schedule monthly, weekly or even daily scans. This keeps tabs on driver status, alerting the user anytime a manufacturer has released a new version. All together, these features translate to tangible boosts in performance, including faster operating speeds, fewer errors, and greater stability for the whole computer.
