DTMF generator

DTMF generator is a compact and portable application that you can use to generate DTMF sound using your system's sound card, mimicking the classical phone tone.
The program does not come equipped with a configuration set, which makes it suitable for all types of users, including the ones with limited or no experience in computer software.
Since installation is not a prerequisite, you can drop the executable file in any location on the hard disk and just click it to run.
It is also possible to save DTMF generator to a USB flash disk or similar storage unit, in order to run it on any machine with minimum effort.
What's worth keeping in mind is that the Windows Registry does not get updated with new entries, and extra files are not created on the HDD without the user's consent, leaving it clean after removal.
The interface is represented by a very small window with a plain and simple layout, where you can click the numbers and letters to trigger the DTMF sound, or press the corresponding keys on the keyboard. There are no other options provided by this utility. For example, you cannot schedule key presses or record sound to file.
As expected, DTMF generator does not put a strain on computer performance, since it runs on a very low quantity of CPU and RAM. It has a very good response time. Although it has not been updated for a long time, DTMF generator smoothly integrates into later operating systems.
