ECam Description
Cad Editor:
If you do not want to draw or you have already created profiles on Cad file, with eCAM you can import 2D geometry directly from DWG and DXF files.
After importing the geometry, you can apply modifiers for the translation, rotation and scale.
Standard Shapes:
To facilitate insertion of the profiles, you can define the most common shapes by inserting only some parameters.
This makes possible the use of the software for users who do not have knowledge of CAD systems.
Simple Navigation:
The entire workflow takes place in the left column.
The various data entry screens are designed to minimize the number of parameters for the current task, so that the user is not lost during the insertion of the data.
To give the user the familiar navigation in the various screens of the software is done in a similar way to a web page with links that lead from one page to another.In the HOME screen is located the machining tree.
To close the screen in here you are at the moment just press the center button to confirm.And also the HOME button to return to the main page.
Child Operation:
When you want to perform a machining tapping, most likely they will also need operations for center-drill , predrill and countersink.All these operations can easily be enabled by specific panel.
The same applies to the milling and turning.
When you create a roughing you can also select to perform the finishing just by selecting it from the panel.
Backplotting:
For a better understanding of the toolpath generated, you can run the backplotting. Is performed only animation tool, it does not run any collision check tool.
