eLibrary is an easy-to-use software application created to help manage ebook collections. It can automatically download book information and covers from the Internet.

Clean and intuitive interface

The program provides a well-organized layout divided in three panels. The first shows the filters for the files, the second one displays all the books in an organized list, and the third one displays the preview area. It lets you organize your collection of ebooks in PDF and CHM format, offering a preview of each file.

Scan, add and view books

Once you add all your files to the collection list, you have to use the scan function found in the “Library” section in order for the program to automatically find and display all identified ebooks.
Please note that the tool doesn't automatically update your library. If you add a new item or remove an existing one, you need to restart the scan to update it again.
From the listing, you can show PDF, CHM or all files, as well as opt for a different display scheme such as details, small or large icons, list or title. Moreover, you have the possibility to order them by title, format, size or location.

Search and update files

The utility is able to look up items by typing specific keywords in the search field. When you select an ebook in the list, you can preview its details, such as type, size, path, author and published date. If one of them has CHM format, its table of contents can be retrieved from the Internet automatically.
eLibrary connects to online databases and looks for books that match a specific title, fetching and updating metadata if found. This can be the author's name, publication title, physical description, ISBN, and a summary or comment on the book.
