Enia Player Description
There are many utilities that were especially tailored for dealing with multimedia files, especially for playing them. Some programs even offer supplemental features and there is at least one such
application that includes editing functions for the loaded clips: Enia Player.
This particular tool is mainly a viewer for lots of movie formats, including AVI, MPEG, XviD, MP4, WMV and MOV. The simple interface is very easy to use and offers quick access to all the commands directly from the main window.
If the necessary codecs are installed onto your system, the playback should go pretty smoothly, but the main strong points of this software reside in other features rather than in the quality of the reproduction.
More precisely, Enia Player is equipped with a function that will make it possible for anyone to extract any fragment from the loaded movie. More precisely, you will be able to create some so-called episodes that can then be further edited and viewed individually.
Selecting the beginning and ending of each part is done by pressing a simple button and as soon as you finish making the selections, the list of episodes will have them enumerated inside of a table.
The details it displays include start and end points, as well as the duration of each part. Also, with Enia Player you can also extend or compress the duration of each individual cutting by adjusting the timings from the list view.
Another extra tool that is available in this program is the screenshot maker, which you can use to capture a still image from the currently playing movie. There are 3 graphics formats for you to choose from when saving the acquired screen, namely JPG, GIF and BMP.
All in all, Enia Player is a decent utility for viewing offline videos, but the features that are specific to such software are rather scarce. Instead, it offers more on the editing side, but this, even if it may serve well such purposes, is not something users would praise most in a movie player.
