Creating multiple copies of a certain text sheet, brochure or collection of photos can be easily done provided that a digital version of these items exists. In case you are dealing with printed documents, a copier or all-in-one similar device can get the job done.
For those who do not have access to either of these devices, there is still hope and it comes in the form of a software solution that only requires a scanner and a printer which have to be accessible to the system the program is running on.
Called Epson Copy Utility, this application is designed to work with a certain number of compatible products from the same manufacturer, so using it with other devices from other brands is unlikely to function properly.
There are several useful functions that you can benefit from, like copying monochrome as well as color multiple pages, photographs and even film strips, be them negative or positive (including color slides).
The configuration of all the necessary settings can be done from a single window, so every command is at your fingertips. Using Epson Copy Utility is mainly a 3-step operation where you choose the source type, output paper and the size of the output copies.
Optionally, you can activate extra functions like color restoration (for photo or film strips source types), dust removal (for film strips only) or text enhancement and adjust the brightness and contrast levels using a couple of sliders.
