evoSonic Player is a small widget that was designed in order to help you listen to radio music from the desktop.
This software tool boasts a simple and modern-looking interface, which enables any type of user to find their way around it with great ease, be they experienced or not.
Aside from that, it can become non-obtrusive quite fast, as it comes in two different sizes. It is important to keep in mind that when the first size is enabled, you are not going to be able to listen to music anymore.
The second window mode presents a play/pause button and the name of the song and artist currently playing. In addition to that, it is possible to share the song and radio you are listening to with your friends, on Facebook or Twitter. It also includes a search tool bar, which can help you look up particular keywords on Google. However, a small setback is the fact that it does not integrate a volume bar.
Right-clicking this widget opens a context menu which closely resembles the one used in most Windows Gadgets. This lets you add other gadgets, move the frame to another desktop location, change its size and opacity level (from 20% up to 100%), close it, as well as force it to stay on top of all other launched utilities.
