Exe2Avi Description
Exe2Avi is a lightweight and simple-to-use program with a name that perfectly describes its functionality - it lets you convert EXE videos to Audio Video Interleave items. The tool can be easily used by beginners.
This is a portable app, so installing Exe2Avi is not necessary. It means that you can place the tool on a removable device (like a USB flash drive), store it on any computer and directly run its executable file.
What's more important is that the Windows registry does not receive new entries. Plus, no leftover items can be found after program removal.
The interface of the app is based on a small, standard window in which you can import video clips by using only the file browser because the 'drag and drop' method is not included. Unfortunately, you cannot process multiple items at the same time.
Since Exe2Avi comes with limited functions, all you can do is specify the output directory and filename, in order to initialize the conversion procedure.
The downside is that Exe2Avi does not allow you to make any audio and video modifications (e.g. frame rate, aspect ratio, volume level, channel mode, sample rate). Plus, you cannot make the tool open the output directory after conversion or minimize to the system tray. Nevertheless, we must keep in mind the fact that Exe2Avi has never been updated.
