EzCopies

EzCopies is a small-sized and simple-to-use software utility designed to help you create copies of your CD and DVD content in just a few simple steps.
It comes packed with just a few intuitive settings that should be simple to figure out by users of any experience level.

Portability perks

As setup is not needed, you can save the program files anywhere on the disk and just click the .exe to launch EzCopies. Another possibility is to save it to a pen drive or other removable storage unit, in order to run it on any PC with minimum effort and no previous installers. Plus, it doesn't modify Windows registry settings.

Simple interface and options

The GUI is user-friendly and consists of a single window with a classical structure that shows all options available. You can select the reading and writing devices, specify the writing speed and number of copies, and indicate the temporary file's location.
Additional commands may be specified to enhance the app's functionality. It's capable of verifying and ejecting the disc on task completion, deleting the temporary file automatically to free up space, powering off the computer, as well as to saving settings for future projects.

Evaluation and conclusion

The software utility didn't hang, crash or show error dialogs throughout our testing. It had minimal impact on the overall performance of the machine, using only a low amount of CPU and RAM to work properly. Although it doesn't implement a rich of options and customization settings, EzCopies delivers a simple solution to cloning CDs and DVDs, and it can be seamlessly handled by anyone.
