EZNote Description
Having a busy schedule might make you forget about other activities, even important ones. However, working with a computer all day can be quite the advantage, especially to set up an organized schedule with reminders and alarms. In this regard, EZNote is a suitable notes and alarms tool.
Assign a name, date, and time
It takes little time and effort to get the application installed on your computer. On the bright side of things, there’s a sample task configured, which automatically shows up when the application is launched, just so you know what to expect from the set of features. The main window is also brought up, and is the place where you need to punch in the variables needed for an alarm.
There are three mandatory requirements, namely a title, date, and time, with description being completely optional. Adding an entry sends it to the database, and you’re free to add a new one on the spot. Accessing the list of entries makes it possible to view all items in a table with related details, as well as the option to edit entries.
No audio alerts and poor overall set of features
The only way to have an entry canceled is to remove the app. When an event is triggered, the corresponding window lets you acknowledge the message, snooze, or remind later on. Hitting OK marks the task as complete and doesn’t trigger it later on.
You have the option to make the application run with Windows, so that all alarms are active by the time you reach the desktop. Unfortunately, you need to be around when an alert is triggered, because there’s no audio feedback. What’s more, the configuration window can’t be minimized, or sent to the tray area, even if there is a corresponding icon there.
A few last words
All things considered, we can state that EZNote is a standard tool with which to set up multiple alarms on the long run. Sadly, there’s no possibility to enable audio alerts, while the overall design makes it feel a little rough around the edges.
