Facebook Video Downloader

As its name clearly states, Facebook Video Downloader is a piece of software designed to make it as easy as possible for you to grab and download videos from your favorite social media or social networking service.
Starting off with this utility is, without a doubt, a very straightforward process since it does not require installation. However, please note that it does require the presence of .NET Framework 4.5 or later on your computer's system in order to work as intended.

Forthright application that does not require installation

To grab videos, simply enter the page username or the video URL in the upper section of the main window, select one of the two provided download modes (Page and Page, Profile URL), click the "Grab" button, select the video you want to download from the list, and hit the "Download" button.
As expected, you can choose the destination for your files, which will be automatically downloaded to MP4 format. Having said that, it would have been nice if the app would have provided you with more options in this respect.

Simplistic application that works better than it looks

Unfortunately, there's no support for batch downloading, thus, grabbing large numbers of videos might prove to a bit time-consuming. Since we're on the what-could-be-better subject, this app could surely do with a more modern user interface, since the current one feels and looks a bit rough around the edges.
Furthermore, the video Thumbnail preview feature doesn't work all that well either, as we have discovered during our tests.

Non-impressive Facebook video downloader

That said, Facebook Video Downloader is a useful application that helps you to quickly grab videos from various public Facebook pages with no more than a few mouse clicks. However, you should not set your expectations too high, since it may not be able to grab all the desired videos.
