FastPack 32

FastPack 32 is a lightweight software application whose purpose is to help you pack and compress EXE files.
It sports a clean and simple interface pointing out to the fact that the accent doesn’t fall upon the looks of the program but rather on its functionality.
Since this is a portable tool, it is important to mention that it doesn’t leave any traces in the Windows Registry.
You can copy it on any USB flash drive or other devices, and take it with you whenever you need to compress EXE files on the breeze, without having to go through installation steps.
FastPack 32 gives you the possibility to add files into the working environment using the built-in browse function or “drag and drop” operations.
The utility lets you select between four different compression algorithms, namely LZMA, LZMAT, aPLib, and LZNT1. At the end of the compression operation, your original files have the BAK file extension.
What’s more, when you open the compressed EXE file, the loader carries out the decompression process displaying the included items.
Since it doesn’t require much computer knowledge to work with this tool even rookies can master the entire process with minimum effort. During our testing we have noticed that FastPack 32 needs some time for compressing large items, and no errors showed up throughout the entire process.
As it would be expected from such a small utility, it remains light on system resources, so it doesn’t hamper the overall performance of the computer, nor interfere with other programs’ functionality.
