File Date Changer

File Date Changer is a lightweight Windows product developed to change the date and the time attributes of user-defined files.
All options are grouped in just a single window, so users need nothing more than basic computer knowledge to figure out the purpose of each feature.
It all comes down to a few fields that let you input the new date and the new time, while more options are available just below these two settings. You can for example change read-only files too, modify the file creation date and the last access date on Windows 95 and NT versions.
There are three changing modes, namely base directory, files in listbox and both, with a dedicated option to apply the settings to subdirectories too.
Drag and drop support is available too, but this doesn’t work on Windows 7 workstations, so you’re stuck with the typical buttons to add files to the queue.
File Date Changer needs just a second to serve its purpose and although a help manual is missing from the package, both rookies and more experienced users should be on the safe side all the time.
