FindSounds Palette Description

Catalog audio files on your local drives or network. Information about each audio file is saved in a database, and audio files can be grouped into categories to facilitate searching and browsing. There is an automated feature to locate audio files on your hard drive.
Search your collection in a variety of ways. FindSounds Palette will search your collection for records that match the words typed into one of its search boxes. An advanced mode enables you to search based on audio file format, duration, file size, key, tempo, and several other attributes.
Search based on sound similarity. FindSounds Palette enables you to search audio in your collection and on the Web based on sound similarity. Using the Comparisonics sound-matching technology, you can find sounds that are similar to an example sound.
Multiply the size of your collection. FindSounds Palette allows you to search for sounds at a variety of speed and pitch variations.
Search the Web for sounds. FindSounds Palette lets you use all of its advanced search features to locate sounds on the Web. Audio files on the Web can even be searched at multiple speeds and pitches! Sounds located on the Web can be easily downloaded, played, and saved to your hard drive.
Use the audio editor to play, record, and edit. You can open any audio file and play it while viewing its colored waveform display. You can record new sounds as well as edit and mix sounds, and save them in a variety of file formats.
